About Marcelina
Marcelina was born as a brand of personalized details, but it found its true essence in the creation of handmade Waldorf-inspired dolls crafted in Mexico.
The idea emerged while my children attended a Waldorf school, where I discovered the value of free play and the power of handcrafted dolls as tools for emotional development. It was there that I learned how to make them, and what began as a personal learning experience soon became a deep passion.

Over time, I began to refine the technique, carefully attending to every stitch, every proportion, and every natural material used. The first orders came from friends and acquaintances, and in this way Marcelina evolved into a brand dedicated to creating handmade Waldorf-inspired dolls with its own identity.
Although my children have grown and are no longer part of a Waldorf school, the love for crafting each doll remains unchanged. Today, Marcelina continues to create unique pieces that honor tradition, childhood, the story of my grandmother, and the value of what is made by hand.

At Marcelina, each doll is a unique piece, handcrafted and personalized in every detail, from skin tone to the type of shoes, carefully attending to the process and the quality of the fabrics to offer an authentic creation, far from mass production.
The value of Handmade
Our artisanal process respects the time required, the use of natural materials, and the care given to every detail, bringing to life unique dolls that preserve the essence of handcrafted work and the intention behind each creation. For this reason, custom dolls have specific production and delivery times, and it needs patience.
