Shared Experience Workshop
The Shared Experience Workshop is an in-person gathering in Mexico City designed for the exchange of knowledge and techniques applied to making clothing and accessories for Waldorf-inspired dolls.
In this creative meeting, each participant shares a skill they are familiar with, such as crochet, knitting, embroidery, fabric dyeing, flower pressing on fabric, or other textile techniques. This creates a true exchange of knowledge where everyone teaches and everyone learns.
More than a traditional class, it is a collaborative experience that fosters community, creativity, and textile experimentation in a respectful and enriching environment.

How it works?

Who can participate?
This space is intended for people with basic or intermediate knowledge of textile techniques such as:
Crochet
Knitting
Embroidery
Fabric dyeing
Flower pressing on fabric
Or any other technique applicable to creating clothing and accessories for dolls
This is not a workshop for absolute beginners, but rather a space for exchange where each participant contributes a skill they already know and would like to share.
What to bring?
Each participant should bring enough materials to share their technique during the session they will facilitate.
This includes the tools, supplies, and sample materials needed so others can practice and experiment with the technique being taught.
The intention is to create an environment of genuine collaboration, where knowledge circulates and all participants enrich their skills with new techniques they can apply to their own creations.
Organization
The workshop is organized in exchange cycles. The number of sessions is defined according to the number of participants enrolled. Each session focuses on a specific skill applied to the creation of clothing and accessories for dolls, creating a dynamic and collaborative process.
Format and Investment
The workshop is held in person in Mexico City and is organized in cycles, according to the participants who are interested.
Prices may vary depending on whether materials need to be purchased for the techniques that will be explored, as agreed by the group.
Each group is limited to 5 participants to ensure that everyone gains valuable knowledge and that the cycle remains manageable.
Workshop dates are announced in advance, and a specific day of the week is established for this format.
Please reserve your spot in advance so the coordination of the group can be organized in the best possible way.
